Brighton || Bill's Restaurant

I've never been to Bill's before but I've heard a few people talk about it and it's unique style so when I found myself in Brighton my friend suggested we go and eat lunch there and here's what I thought.

Choosing a drink was harder than I expected as there were so many different options available however I haven't had pink lemonade since America in August so I thought I'd give it a try, I was a little disappointing as it wasn't as tasty as I was expecting it to be.

Our waitress came over who was extremely friendly and helpful. I began by ordering the cumberland sausages in a honey and mustard dressing. Oh my goodness these tasted so good I could of just had a plate of them for lunch, the dressing was to die for and the sausages were perfectly cooked.

When it came to the mains I was stuck between a lamb dish and a duck pie, the waitress recommended the duck pie so that's what I went for however I was a little disappointed with the lack of actual duck in the duck pie, tiny little chunks. It was basically mash with bits of meat, but the mash was tasty.

I almost didn't have dessert but there were so many amazing desserts on the menu I was stuck between the brownie and the lemon meringue cheesecake in a glass.. I went with the waitresses recommendation again and got the lemon meringue cheesecake in a glass. If you follow me on twitter you know I love lemon flavoured things and I wasn't disappointed by the waitresses recommendation it was amazing, I've never tasted anything so perfect with such a texture in my whole life. I would have gone to Bill's just for this dessert.

. The bill came to just under £40 for one starter, two drinks, two mains and one dessert which is a little overpriced for what it actually was, the main course wasn't outstanding, if I hadn't had the starter and dessert it would have been a little disappointing to say the least. I don't think I'd eat here again in a hurry because I feel like there are lots of other places out there that are better value, but I did enjoy myself and the atmosphere there.

You can find out what I wore to Bill's here.

Have you eaten at Bill's?
What did you think?
