Perfect Pre Instagrammable Picnic Hampers

Here's for one for all you social media fanatics, Mercure Hotels have partnered with food designers Bompas & Parr to put together these gorgeous edible picnic hampers that don't need a filter. As someone who spends a lot of time trying to choose a filter on Instagram these baskets make it easy. Picnics are extremely popular amongst us Brits during the summer, especially in Wales where we have so many beautiful parks and countryside to explore.

On Friday the 17th of June Mercure Hotels put on a free picnic at Somerset House where these beautiful hampers were on display, you can check out the #PicnicWithMercure on Twitter and Instagram!

There are three hampers in this collection matching Instagram filters such as the Mayfair filter, Hudson filter and the Juno filter. #NoFilter required on these beautiful baskets.

Mercure Aberdeen Ardoe House Hotel and Spa Hamper designed with the Mayfair filter in mind. The yellow colour palate, supported by undertones of green, creates a relaxed, hazy look and feel, perfect for those wanting their shots to reflect lazy summer days. Bursting with flavour, the Ardoe Hamper features tea pastel sandwiches, sumptuous shortbread and crumbling scones.

Mercure Box Hill Burford Bridge Hotel Hamper features a slight blue hue, mimicking the Hudson filter. A secondary filter of pink further brings out the clean feel of the hamper, which is stocked with blue cheese with apple and cider chutney, and a deceptively tasty blue loaf.

Mercure Sheffield St Paul's Hotel and Spa Hamper brings photography to life with a colour-pop indicative of the Juno filter. The delicate pinks and yellows used in the clotted cream and jam scones and Melton Mowbray Pork Pie.

How cute are these! They also look extremely delicious. I don't know which one I'd choose... would it be wrong for one person to eat all three?

Anyone else love the thought of being a food designer like Bompas and Parr? Surely you get to eat the beautiful food after it's been snapped...

Which basket would you choose?
